Five hands on a table representing diversity

Environmental Justice

In 1991, the First National People of Color Environmental Leadership Summit united in solidarity and adopted 17 Principles of Environmental Justice. Remarkable environmental justice work has been rooted in these principles.

The Vermont Journal of Environmental law seeks to provide an accessible forum for environmental justice. Accordingly, we are always accepting prospective editors to publish an environmental justice-focused Article or blog post in our environmental justice blog, The Beacon. We also encourage suggestions to our EJ Resource Hub with valuable resources available to all with a passion for environmental justice.
